INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY – SATSANG & SOUND
COMPLIMENTARY EVENT WITH EMMA PALMER
“Satsang is the invitation to step into the fire of self-discovery. This fire will not burn you, it will burn only what you are not.”
In the ancient traditions of Yoga, Satsang would involve the coming together of fellow seekers in the presence of Truth as a Guru – or “one takes us from darkness to light” – shared enlightening insights for navigating this journey of life. In our modern times, the essence of Satsang can be experienced in many forms – being inspired by a meaningful text or poetry, or attending a Yoga, meditation or philosophy class – anything that provides an opportunity for joining together, practicing and learning with those who are in search of that very same Truth.
And so, in celebration of International Yoga Day we will ignite this ancient tradition and invite you to join us in Satsang for an evening filled with rich yoga philosophy, chanting, meditation and sound healing.
In Satsang together we will explore the ancient roots and traditions of Yoga, their significance and bearing on our lives today, and the ways in which these sacred teachings guide us ever-wisely along our path. We will then move into chanting 108 rounds of an ancient mantra accompanied by the melodic sounds of the harmonium, before immersing in a guided meditation and sound bath to deeply restore and rebalance through the subtle energetic body, delivering you into a blissful night of stillness…
This event is complimentary – a gift from us to you, as way of expressing our gratitude for providing us with the opportunities to share what we love through the practices of Yoga. Be sure you book your spot, as these events tend to fill very quickly!

“Sat-sangatve nissangatvam nissangatve nirmohatvam
Nirmohatve nishchala-tattvam nishchala-tattve jivanmuktih
Bhaja govindam bhaja govindam bhaja govindam mudha-mate”
(“Good and virtuous company gives rise to non-attachment. From non-attachment comes freedom from delusion. With freedom from delusion, one feels the changeless reality. Experiencing that changeless reality, one attains liberation in this life. I-AM is the ocean of awareness. Realizing this, one feels ‘I am not the body and mind, although I have a body and mind.’”)
