– A YOGA INTENSIVE WITH EMMA PALMER
“The soul is more amazed everyday… as she perceives… sacred presence in a radically inner place, inside her own depths” – St. Theresa of Avila
In these times of ever-increasing uncertainty, our innate desire for greater peace, compassion, connection and unity only amplifies. The recognition and deep knowing that we are interconnected with all that is, dispels any fear-driven misconception of our existence as a separate being and opens our awareness to a boundless sense of belonging. The teachings of the Divine Abode awaken us to recall that the light of consciousness is found in the macrocosm and microcosm – equally pulsating at the nucleus of the individual and collective heart.
In the Buddhist teachings, love, compassion, joy and equanimity are states of being replete with Divine nectar that guide us toward a rich sense of reverential connection and belonging, as they reverberate through our cellular matrix and create a portal to deeper empathy for Self and the path of all beings. They are in essence our true nature of being, or Sadbhāva, and radiate with a light of awareness that dissolves the flimsy veils of illusion. Through practice and devotion our sense of who we are comes to align itself with our true nature, and we are empowered to live from a deeper awareness of the Divine Self that dwells within you, as you.
Our March 2020 Yoga Intensive is an invitation to dive deeper into our sacred awakening with an immersive 3-hour journey of powerful Āsana, Kriyā, Prāṇāyāma, Mudrā, Dhyāna (meditation), Prārthanā (prayer), Mantra (chanting) and a deep Śavāsana of sound healing – all beautifully interwoven with the rich teachings that attune us to our own light of consciousness and become a portal to abiding in the loving presence of our innate Divinity.
“As you practice building a home in yourself, you become more and more beautiful” – Thich Nhat Hanh
