DAILY SCHEDULE

5.45am – 6.30am

Each morning, we gather in the Beach Śāla that overlooks the ocean for sunrise meditation with Emma. Held by the rhythm of the waves and the soft awakening of nature, this shared practice is an opportunity to settle the mind, open the heart, and softly step into the unfolding day. Aftermeditation there is a a gentle window to integrate, journal, walk along the beach, or sit and simply watch the ocean.

7am – 10am

Gather with Emma in the sacred Gaṇeśa Śāla overlooking the gardens, pool and ocean beyond for Morning Sādhana of mantra, kriya, prāṇāyāma, āsana, meditation, guided savāsana, contemplation and journalling. Day by day, the practice reveals new layers, an ever-deepening return to the nature of Self, an unfolding into clarity, and quiet remembering.

10am – 4pm

A beautiful, delicious and healthy vegetarian brunch buffet is freshly served, to enjoy overlooking the ocean and tropical gardens of Samahita. The time is then yours to relax, wander, integrate and explore – read by the pool, journal under the palm trees, connect with like-minded souls, walk, indulge in a spa treatment or take to the pristine ocean with a kayak, snorkel, or paddle board. On the Tuesday from 1pm – 3pm we’ll also be treated to a wonderfully insightful guided Buddhist Temple Walk.

4pm – 6pm

Join Emma once again for the gentle closing of the day. Each afternoon offers a carefully woven blend of either evening Prāṇāyāma, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidrā, Dharma Talk on Yogic Psychology & Philosophy, or Meditation.

6pm – 9pm

The culinary delights of Samahita’s famed Dinner buffet is served from 6pm – 8pm, and the rest of this time is yours to freely immerse once again. Breathe in the fragrances of unspoilt tropical nature with a sunset beach stroll or the healing aromas of the complimentary Herbal Steam Room, before melting into a deeply restful sleep in anticipation of another heavenly day to follow.

9pm – 10am

Each day, between the hours of 9pm and 10am, Samahita honours the sacred practice of Mauna, or intentional silence. Mauna is not merely the absence of words; it is a conscious turning inward, an invitation to rest in stillness and simplicity. Within this quiet, the nervous system softens, the mind settles, and the heart becomes more receptive. Silence allows us to attune to our inner landscape and to the subtle wisdom that reveals itself when we slow down enough to listen.

This shared observance supports a gentle transition from the outer world into the depth of Morning Sādhana, while also honouring this experience for others. By observing Mauna, you create the conditions for integration, self-inquiry, and presence. In doing so, you help preserve the sanctity of the space we are cultivating together. Let silence be your threshold, and the quiet that prepares you to listen, to learn, and to receive.

MEET EMMA

Your retreat facilitator Emma Palmer founded Moksha Yoga in Melbourne, Australia, in 2005 and continues to curate and deliver an ever-evolving suite of Teacher Trainings (including Yoga, Meditation, Prāṇāyāma and Sound Medicine Facilitator Trainings), retreats, classes, courses, dharma circles and immersion experiences.

Follower of the Siddha, Advaita, Kashir Shaivism and Sri Vidya lineages, Emma has practiced meditation for over 25 years and lovingly shares her teachings in reverence to awakening a deeper awareness and realisation of true consciousness throughout the collective.

TESTIMONIAL

“I came expecting yoga, sunrises, meditation, maybe a bit of rest. What I received was far deeper. Emma didn’t just teach postures, she creates a sacred container, rooted in ancient wisdom, but alive and relevant now. Her presence is real. Her guidance is kind. Each meditation, Mantra, Pranayama and philosophical session held space for me to begin peeling back layers I’d long forgotten were there.

In that retreat I found what I’d been missing: a way to reconnect with devotion, for my practice, yes, but most importantly, for myself. Among women navigating their own transitions: motherhood, work, identity, I felt seen, safe, and supported. There was generosity without expectation, reflection without judgment, growth without pressure.

Now, I carry more than memories. I carry back new practices I can use, insights I can call on, and a renewed sense of self-worth. I felt transformed, not because the world around me changed, but because I looked within, and found myself waiting, whole, and ready. Emma’s retreat isn’t just a getaway—it’s a journey back to who you always were.”

~ Fai Mos, Koh Samui Retreat 2025
