Our February 2020 Yoga Intensive marks a momentous anniversary for Moksha, and will be a special celebration of the very foundations from which this sacred space first began to blossom some 15 years ago – the teachings and practices that guide us toward our ultimate liberation, or “Mokṣa”.

Emma Palmer’s vision for Moksha was always to create a sacred space to fully immerse in an exploration of the rich philosophical teachings of Yoga, providing each one of us with a much-needed compass to guide us through the myriad experiences that comprise our daily lives. Moksha was born at a time when Yoga wasn’t as popular as it is today, which meant these powerful transformational teachings weren’t always as easily and readily received as they are now. Emma began with just one dedicated student, yet with faith, trust, hope, prayer and a strong intuitive vision Emma’s courageous authenticity and optimism faced down every challenge imaginable to keep the dream alive. We now find ourselves 15 year later, ever committed to ensuring this space remains that portal of safety, transformation and awakening – a home away from home – and we couldn’t be prouder of all that Moksha has become and all that she is continuing to evolve into being as she continues to hold space for so many students unapologetically daring to walk the road less travelled toward our ultimate freedom and liberation.

The name Moksha was only ever the real choice for this sacred place, as it refers to becoming fully alive as a spiritually liberated being moving through the inevitable cycles of life from a grounded place of alignment with our ultimate freedom on this journey home to embrace the Truth of who we are. When we attune to a deep state of perpetual joy that is free from being determined by our external circumstances, we establish a solid foundation from which to experience all the divine contrasts of life, both light and shadow, manifesting as rich teachings and invitations to elevate our consciousness to ever-deepening levels of awareness.

We’d love you to be part of this very special Yoga Intensive to explore the sacred teachings of Mokṣa and dive deeper into the wellspring of practices that guide us toward the ultimate freedom of awakening to our own light of consciousness. The teachings of Gurumayi state that the attainment of Mokṣa requires Mumukṣutva – an intense burning desire and determination for this liberation, combined with the deep knowing it can only be attained when we are able to see reality through the lens of Truth. Through an immersive 3-hour Yoga journey of powerful Āsana, Kriyā, Prāṇāyāma, Mudrā, Dhyāna (meditation), Prārthanā (prayer), Mantra (chanting) and deep Śavāsana of sound healing, you are invited to explore the landscape of your own deepest Truths that are the key to unlocking your own ultimate freedom.

Explore into the deeper layers of your practice, experience its transformational gifts and allow the true purpose of Yoga to become realised by immersing yourself in a 3-hour journey devoted to your mind, your body and your spirit – open to all levels of Yoga experience except for absolute beginners.
