– WITH EMMA PALMER
“How you wake up each day and your morning routine (or lack thereof) dramatically affects your levels of success in every single area of your life.
Focused, productive, successful mornings generate focused, productive, successful days – which inevitably create a successful life – in the same way that unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre mornings generate unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre days, and ultimately a mediocre quality of life.
By simply changing the way you wake up in the morning, you can transform any area of your life, faster than you ever thought possible.”
― Hal Elrod
Establishing a daily spiritual practice, known as Sādhana, is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. It forms the very foundation for exploring the landscape of our lives from a deeply centred place firmly embedded in the presence, love and guidance of the Divine.
A common thread that weaves its way through the Yogic teachings and sacred texts from many lineages continuously points us towards the fruits and blessings of living a life rooted in daily spiritual practice. Sādhana opens the gateway to the source and wellspring of wisdom teachings that only true stillness can hear in the presence of Grace, and it doesn’t take long into your commitment to this path for its benefits to permeate your every experience and the profundity of its impact to clearly show itself in your relationship with self and all those whose lives you touch.
“Devotion gives you the tremendous courage you need to keep walking on the path. When it is necessary to make a great leap forward, devotion gives you wings”
– Swami Chidvilasananda
Studies have shown that how we start our day is pivotal to how we experience its journey, and a morning practice can be the key to elevating mood, increasing productivity, reducing stress and supporting healthy energy levels. However, despite starting out with the best of intentions and knowing just how influential our Sādhana can be, establishing a devotion and consistency to our practice can at first be challenging. And with a potentially overwhelming selection of possible tools, techniques and practices available, just how do you create a Sādhanā that’s right for you that cumulatively invokes a deeply profound impact far exceeding the sum of its parts?
This workshop has been lovingly curated by Emma to inspire and empower you with everything you need to move into the new year with your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing a priority. You’ll put together a personalised morning Sādhanā to confidently get started and follow – from a plethora of practices including kriya, pranayama, asana, mantra, meditation, contemplation, journalling and scriptural study – specifically designed to fit your schedule and align with your particular intentions, areas for enhancement and desired outcomes for 2024.
We’ll also focus on connecting with your all-important personal reason for committing to a practice, while exploring how to gently and patiently cultivate the necessary dedication, inspiration and consistency for prioritising this invaluable time to show up for yourself on the mat or cushion each day.
