EVOLUTION OF THE SACRED

– A YOGA INTENSIVE WITH EMMA PALMER

Consistent dedication to our mat is only part of the rich tapestry the Yoga teachings offer. Through the power of Bhakti (devotion) we become aware of the many ways these sacred teachings are abundantly woven through our interactions with life experiences and each other.

Agama is the concept in Yoga relating to ‘sacred work’ and invites us to make space for the awakening that all experience is sacred – every interaction, every chance meeting all stem from the seeds of sacred work. This realisation changes not only the way we live, but also how we interact with life, each other and ourselves whilst navigating its many teachings.

In our final Intensive for the year a Krama of ancient Yoga practices including Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Mantra and Dhyana (meditation) will guide you on a journey of Svadhyaya (self-enquiry) to reconnect with this sacred intelligence once more – creating space for reawakening the purpose and deeper meaning of your life. As the breath weaves through each Asana, we find ways to honour the sacred wisdom present in our practice and in the Anandamaya Kosha, the sheath of our blissful self. When we come to recognise all living beings and experience as sacred, doors open that show us a more deeply meaningful way of moving through our lives and the abundant opportunities for learning and wisdom reveal themselves in every moment.

MOKSHA YOGA INTENSIVES

Explore into the deeper layers of your practice, experience its transformational gifts and allow the true purpose of yoga to become realised by immersing yourself in a 3-hour journey devoted to your mind, your body and your spirit.

Moksha Yoga Intensives are designed to provide you with the opportunity and guidance to move deeper into your experience of yoga with 3 hours of dedicated practice, and are open to all levels of experience except for absolute beginners.

The Intensives include 1.5-2 hours of Asana (physical postures) integrated with Pranayama (breathing practices) and Yoga Philosophy, before moving into a deep Yoga Nidra or Savasana, followed by Chanting and completing with a Meditation practice. Our Yoga Intensives are a deeply spiritual yet physically and mentally challenging experience.
