“The present moment is filled with joy and happiness. If you are attentive, you will see it.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

To be truly alive and engaged in each moment is a gift that opens us to embrace the full richness of all life has to offer. All we seek that is most meaningful to us is bestowed only in those moments where we are fully awake, aware and present to what is, right now.

Yet how much of our day-to-day, moment-to-moment existence are we truly present to notice? How much of our awareness continues to live in the past or is focussed toward “I will be happy, when…”? Are you completely present to yourself and to those who matter most, or do you continually find your mind hijacked and yourself robbed of the opportunity for true connection with life or another?

Embodied Presence is awakening to the rich array of teachings that are imparted in these very moments. Through the practice of embodied presence we create the space to catch ourselves when we step out of the moment, and can bring ourselves back from the mind’s trance into the truth of what is present both around and within us. These opportunities become portals to experiencing wholeness, awakening and a deeper appreciation of reality through a more conscious lens.

Even amidst the feelings of discomfort that life’s challenges will inevitably bring to our door, embodied presence is the state of truly being with all that is, rather than succumbing to our conditioned desire for finding distraction from the present and attempting to escape what is ultimately inescapable. Just as when the fires of our practice intensify and become uncomfortable, these inner conflicts are an opportunity to experience the teachings of Ātman Vichāra and for deeper self-enquiry into how fully we are showing up to the presence of what is, just as it is.

Our November Yoga Intensive delves deep into the sacred Yogic wisdom and practices for how we can move away from the trance of “doing” and lean into the gifts of living as a fully alive, awake and present “being”. Join Emma for an enlivening 3-hour journey into the embodiment of complete presence as rich Yogic Philosophy is woven through an ever-deepening practice of mindfulness in motion, and featuring a carefully crafted krama of powerful Āsana, Kriyā, Prāṇāyāma, Mudrā; Dhyāna (meditation), Prārthanā (prayer), Mantra (chanting), and an immersive guided Śavāsana of sound healing.

Explore into the deeper layers of your practice, experience its transformational gifts and allow the true purpose of Yoga to become realised by immersing yourself in a 3-hour journey devoted to your mind, your body and your spirit – open to all levels of Yoga experience except for absolute beginners.
